Dystopia Rebel Road: Slot Overview
Ever get the feeling the team at Octoplay has a soft spot for classic one-on-one PvP fighters like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, or Tekken? That idea gains more weight with Dystopia Rebel Road. Much like Eternal Clash, the headline attraction here is Showdown Spins, driven by the Combat Royale battle system, where a squad of allies faces enemies in brutal head-to-head clashes to scoop up cash rewards.
Of course, you can just as easily get flattened, because the opponents are the Mad Max-style wasteland raiders—part cybernetic, part enhanced human. Luckily, some of your allies are cut from the same cloth. They roam a bone-dry future that looks like the planet’s water supply has all but vanished, leaving the world as one giant dust bowl. Even the loading screen sets the mood, with a menacing sandstorm about to swallow the road and immediately pushing the game into darker territory. The backstory behind the collapse isn’t spelled out, but if we keep treating Earth like an endless buffet while temperatures climb, maybe we’ll learn the hard way. Hopefully not.

Maybe the rival factions in Dystopia Rebel Road aren’t quite as savage as the ones in Eternal Clash, because the math model has shifted to low/medium volatility this time. The change was noticeable, but not in a bad way. The RTP, with stakes from 10 c to $/€200 per spin, is 95.76%, and gameplay runs on a 6×4, 25-payline layout.
Low-pay symbols are bullet-chewed 10-A card ranks, while the top end is made up of 4 character icons. Hit 6 matching low pays and you’ll receive 1.6 to 4 times their bet, while 6 matching high pays return 4.8 to 12 times their bet. The wild substitutes for all paying symbols, and since it can land on every reel, a full line of 6 wilds pays 25x the bet.
Dystopia Rebel Road: Slot Features

Showdown Spins are easily the main event in Dystopia Rebel Road, though the base game gets an extra layer of spice thanks to the Cash Wilds feature.
Cash Wilds
Alongside acting as substitutes for standard pay symbols, wilds appear in 3 sizes, with sizes 2 and 3 also paying a cash prize when they help form a winning line. Wilds step up in both size and multiplier value: Wild 1 is 1×1, Wild 2 is 2×1 with multipliers from 1x to 5x, and Wild 3 is 3×1 with multipliers from 7x to 20x.
Showdown Spins
Hit 3 or more scatters to activate Showdown Spins, beginning with 500 player health points. If the bonus starts via 4 scatters, ally 3 is guaranteed to show up on the first spin. A 5 scatter trigger guarantees ally 4 to appear on the first spin or ally 5 on the first spin when triggered by 6 scatters.
During Showdown Spins, the playfield switches to a 6×2 grid, where you can land empty spaces, ally units, enemy units, or Boosters. When characters land, they lock to the reel. Once allied characters and enemies are both locked in view, they battle against each other, with each side losing Health Points equal to the other’s Attack Power. When Health Points reach 0, that character is destroyed. Enemies carry Cash Prizes, which are awarded when they are destroyed. If every ally is wiped out and enemies continue attacking, they hit the Player Health bar instead. When the Player Health bar reaches 0, or the max win is reached, Showdown Spins finish.
Characters
The allied and enemy characters which can land during Showdown Spins are Allied and Enemy characters. Allies scale upward with stats of 10/10, 20/20, 30/30, 100/100, 200/200 in attack power and health points respectively. Enemies also increase, with 5/5, 20/20, 50/50, 200/200, 300/300 in attack power and health points, and cash prizes spanning 2x-100x to 250x-5,000x respectively.
Boosters
Boosters in slots improve character stats ahead of the showdown: Gun (+10 Attack), Med-kit (+20 Health), Grenade (-20 Health), Motorbike (+10 Attack for 2 spins), Car (+10 Attack, +10 Health for 3 spins), Truck (+20 Attack, +20 Health for 4 spins), Cash Crate, and Double Crate. Cash Crates come with multipliers of 2x to 50x the stake. If a Cash Crate lands beneath an ally, the cash prize is collected. If a Cash Crate lands beneath an enemy, the cash prize is added to the enemy’s cash prize. If a Double Crate lands beneath an ally, all winnings from the round-up till that point are doubled. If it lands beneath an enemy, the enemy’s cash prize is doubled.
Bonus Buy
Since the combat is clearly the highlight of Dystopia Rebel Road, anyone wanting instant entry to Showdown Spins can purchase it for 100x the bet. The bonus buy RTP is 95.8%.

Dystopia Rebel Road: Slot Verdict
Even though Showdown Spins sit at the centre of both titles, Dystopia Rebel Road generally felt quite different to Eternal Clash in play. One major separator is the math: Dystopia Rebel Road is the lower-volatility option, and that worked in its favour. The free spins feature seemed to arrive more often, which was a nice change—though note this was based on observation, as exact free spins hit frequency wasn’t available for the review. The cost to buy Showdown Spins is also much lower at 100x compared to Eternal Clash’s 250x, meaning you can theoretically access the feature more regularly on the same bankroll.
From what I recall, allies also appeared more frequently, making Dystopia Rebel Road feel more approachable than its blade-swinging predecessor. This time around, there are Boosters and Cash Crates as well. Not every Booster is helpful—some weaken allies while others strengthen enemies—but their presence nudges Showdown Spins further into video game territory while adding extra layers to the action. As expected, lowering volatility and softening the overall brutality does reduce the max win, yet at 5,000x the bet, Dystopia Rebel Road still packs plenty of firepower.
It would be useful to have more stats for Dystopia Rebel Road to make a hard, numbers-first comparison with Eternal Clash. Still, on a purely anecdotal level, Dystopia Rebel Road definitely came across as the “softer” of the two—though that’s not a criticism. If anything, the relatively “frequent” trips into the Showdown Spins bonus round, with its more balanced-feeling brawls and added Boosters, delivered an enjoyable Combat Royale slot that seems likely to appeal to a broader range of players than the potentially punishing hack-and-slash intensity of Eternal Clash.
