Dynamite Riches (Red Tiger): Overview
There’s something about the gold rush, prospecting, and the wider Wild West vibe that pairs with gambling like sparks and fuel. The themes blend naturally and share plenty in common: the excitement of the hunt, the dream of building a fortune, and the chance of (hopefully) walking away with profit. Luckily, modern players can chase that feeling from the comfort of home. It’s worth remembering the real prospectors who had to stand knee-deep in freezing water with a pan, or dig through unstable mine shafts that could cave in at any time. Red Tiger seems to agree, offering a much safer descent underground, where a bearded old prospector chips away at the rock in search of the yellow metal.
The main character here looks like he moonlights in just about every gold mining slot ever released. He’s got that bushy-bearded, Santa-like look seen in Gold Rush from Pragmatic Play and Diamond Mine: Megaways from Blueprint. Visually and feature-wise, Dynamite Riches stands up well against those titles. The hunt for riches plays out on 5 reels, 4 rows, and 20 fixed paylines in a mineshaft far below ground. Above the reels sits a stick of dynamic with a long fuse and 4 locked padlocks, teasing the mechanics ahead. Betting is fairly reasonable, beginning at 10 c/p and rising to $/€20 per spin.
The symbols fit the gold mine setting nicely. The lower-paying card suits—diamonds, hearts, clubs, and spades—are styled to resemble precious gems. The five higher-paying symbols, from lowest to highest, are lanterns, shovels/picks, helmet, a bag of nuggets, and the miner, who pays up to 15 times the stake. Wins are made with three or more matching symbols, except for the miner, who only requires two or more. For volatility, this is right at the top end, with a 5/5 rating from the developers and solid win potential. The RTP of 95.7% isn’t outstanding, but the high hit rate delivers fairly regular wins, keeping things lively as players keep swinging for a major find. Adding to the appeal is how the features are designed to unlock in a sequence.
Dynamite Riches (Red Tiger): Features

Dynamite Riches includes 3 different wilds. The gold bar, dynamite bundle, and diamond symbols all substitute for standard symbols and pay 15 times the stake for a five of a kind. When the bundle of dynamites lands, it burns away part of the fuse shown above the reels. Collect enough wilds and the dynamite detonates, unlocking a padlocked Special feature—there are four in total:
- The first triggers a detonator blast that stops all low-paying symbols from appearing on the reels.
- The second causes the mine to rumble, dropping random wilds onto the reels.
- The third is a compass that spins to award multipliers up to x10.
- The final padlock releases 2×2 and 3×3 Mega Wilds into the game.
Once a feature is activated, it applies to the next spin only. After that single spin, play returns to normal. Also worth noting: the three Wilds—the dynamite, Random Wild, and Mega Wild—pay 15 times the stake if five land on a payline.
Beyond that, Dynamite Riches also keeps a Gold Spins symbol in reserve as the scatter. It can land on any reel, and hitting 3 or more triggers 8 bonus spins. For each extra Gold Spins symbol beyond the minimum, you gain 2 additional bonus spins. The feature can also be retriggered by landing 3 or more scatters. During the Gold Spins round, all special features remain active for the duration.
Dynamite Riches (Red Tiger): Verdict
Red Tiger describes Dynamite Riches as offering “guaranteed entertainment.” After a decent session, though, it’s difficult to back that up when landing three scatters can be such a challenge. Of course, results vary and sometimes it simply isn’t your night. Still, it doesn’t seem to be a one-off experience. Other players have also pointed out a shortage of scatters and bonus rounds in earlier Red Tiger titles.
Thankfully, that didn’t sink the game entirely, and overall our time with Dynamite Riches was reasonably enjoyable. The hit rate is what kept it moving, giving enough small wins to encourage repeated spins and maintain momentum. The four features also add longevity, and tying their unlocks to the dynamite mechanic is a smart thematic touch. The game’s staying power is boosted further by a max potential of over 5,000 times the stake, which is a respectable pile of nuggets and worth digging for. Just remember it’s highly volatile, especially if you’re chasing those hard-to-find scatter symbols.
That said, interest can dip sharply once you’ve unlocked all four features. Up to that point, the suspense of discovering how each one changes the game (and what it might pay) is a strong reason to keep spinning. After you’ve seen them all, unless Wild West-style slots are really your thing, it can be easy to call it a day and head back to the surface.
All in all, Red Tiger has delivered a solid entry. The gold mining theme is surprisingly crowded, with plenty of competing slots in the category. Even so, Dynamite Riches ranks among the stronger options available. With its high volatility, frequent hits, and strong upside, Dynamite Riches is worth taking underground for a trial run.
