Visually and sonically, Dream Diver stands out as an experience that’s worth checking out, even if only to get a glimpse into ELK’s imagination.

Over time, though, the initial wow factor can fade—especially if you run into a few underwhelming bonus rounds. That can happen in a couple of ways: hitting the annoying alarm clock early on a lower level and ending the feature too soon, or reaching the Dream Wheel with a respectable multiplier but having a small prize to multiply. The downside is the price, and while it delivered the biggest wins during testing, it seldom even managed to break even.
