Yes, there are moments where reaching the deeper levels can pay off, but hanging around to chase the game’s biggest rewards is a tough sell when there are so many far more enjoyable alternatives available.

So, back to the point: closing thoughts on Deep Descent, which ultimately didn’t land for us. With dull visuals, repetitive play, and only middling features, it comes across as if Relax pulled Deep Descent from a forgotten recycle bin on an old laptop and decided to patch it up and publish it anyway.
