Crazy Digginz: Slot Overview
Have you ever been out and about—maybe in a supermarket or some other everyday place—and suddenly run into someone you haven’t seen in years, and they’re not even on any social network you know? Those random meet-ups usually end one of two ways: either it’s a brilliant catch-up with an old mate, or it turns into a painfully awkward exchange where both of you mutter hello and escape in opposite directions. Reviewing Crazy Digginz from Games Global partner Pulse 8 Studios felt like a blend of both. It was a comforting return to a familiar vibe, but also a jarring surprise that left us with more than a few questions.
Stepping back a little helps explain what we mean. A few months before this review, we came across games such as The Legend of Musashi and Dungeon Tower by Armenian studio Peter & Sons—titles that looked noticeably less like the usual Peter & Sons style. That sparked the obvious questions: are P&S trying something new, splitting into a different direction, or testing out alternative art approaches? Now it seems like, perhaps, the artist behind P&S’s signature look may have ended up working with Games Global partner Pulse 8 Studios. The similarity is far too striking to brush off as coincidence—or even simple imitation. Honestly, if we didn’t know better, we’d have sworn Crazy Digginz was a P&S release.

As its title suggests, Crazy Digginz is a video slot that uses the classic mining theme to frame its underlying maths. On the numbers side, Crazy Digginz is labelled as having a highly volatile math model, and it comes in four RTP configurations from 96.02% down to 86.79%, depending on the market. With the default setting selected, players can stake 20 p/c to $/€20 per spin, and the game runs smoothly on tablet, mobile, or desktop for anyone ready to get the reels moving.
The action takes place on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 20 paylines fixed in place for landing wins. The best payouts come from five-of-a-kind combinations, awarding 3 to 5 times the bet for five of the 10-A card royals, or 8 to 40 times the stake for five picks, hammers, blue gems, green gems, or red gems. Crazy Digginz also features multiple wild symbols, including a standard wild that appears on reels 2, 3, and 4 and substitutes for any symbol except scatters and the Special Wild symbols.
Crazy Digginz: Slot Features

Alongside the Special Wild symbols, Crazy Digginz includes Crazy Mode, a bonus round, and—where permitted—a bonus buy option as well as a Win Booster.
Special Wilds
Allmine, Flint and Morpho are the Special Wilds. They appear on reels 2-4, and when they land, each one applies its own modifying ability:
- Allmine (The Collector) – gathers an x1 multiplier from all high symbols that don’t already have a multiplier, or takes the multiplier from high pays that do. The combined amount is then added as a multiplier to the Allmine symbol.
- Flint (The Spreader) – randomly assigns multipliers to all symbols except scatter symbols.
- Morpho (The Upgrader) – randomly converts medium or low pay symbols into random high pay symbols.
Only one of each Special Wild type can show up on a single spin, and Special Wilds substitute for all symbols except the scatter.
Crazy Mode
Crazy Mode randomly triggers in either the base game or the bonus game. Once it’s active, Crazy Mode increases the rewards from Special Wilds. Allmine collects double the value of multipliers attached to high pays; Flint randomly distributes 8-14 multipliers to all symbols except scatters, and Morpho randomly upgrades two types of medium or low symbols to one random kind of high symbols.
Bonus
Hitting 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols awards up to 12 free spins along with Special Wild features. Which Special Wilds you get depends on how many scatters triggered the round. In detail: 3 scatter symbols unlock Allmine, 4 bonus symbols unlock Allmine and Flint, and 5 bonus symbols unlock Allmine, Flint, and Morpho. Landing 3 scatter symbols during free spins retriggers them and enables additional Special Wild features. Crucially, the Special Wilds assigned to each bonus round remain on the grid for the duration of the feature, moving between reels 2-4 throughout the free spins.
Buy Bonus/Win Booster
Since these options can vary by jurisdiction, the presence of the Win Booster button indicates it’s available; turning it on increases the chance of landing Special Wilds, scatter symbols, or high symbols in the base game. Enabling the Win Booster increases the bet by x2. Then there’s the bonus buy, which lets players purchase free spins triggered by 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols for 79x, 299x, or 1,999x the bet, respectively.

Crazy Digginz: Slot Verdict
Once we’d got past the initial “is this a Peter & Sons slot or not?” double-take, it was time to see what Crazy Digginz could actually do. And, to be fair, it delivered—it really wasn’t bad. Up to now, Pulse 8 Studios hasn’t exactly been known for releases that leave a lasting impression, but this could be a turning point. Whatever the wider reaction ends up being, it feels like the studio has genuinely made an effort to create something that registers on the iGaming radar. Whether it becomes a major blip or gets drowned out by other releases remains to be seen, but there are definitely aspects of Crazy Digginz worth a closer look.
The most immediate point is the artwork, which stayed eerily familiar even after a full session. If there were an online slot prize for “doppelganger of the year,” Crazy Digginz would be right up there. Setting that aside, the gameplay brings plenty to the table. Under the right circumstances, this one can hit serious heights—up to 68,000x the bet. After watching it play out, that number feels far less unrealistic than it first sounded. The game clearly peaks when all three Special Wilds are active during free spins, where things can turn completely wild, and the hefty buy price makes sense in that context. Multipliers get spread around, symbols get upgraded, and multiplier values get collected elsewhere, creating loud, unruly chaos—when the momentum is there.
Previously, Pulse 8 Studios often seemed happy to drift along, making bold claims without consistently releasing slots that truly matched the talk. Does Crazy Digginz shift that view? In certain respects, yes. It looks like the studio has strengthened its design side, introduced some genuinely out-there concepts, and—most importantly—allowed the gameplay enough space to shine (when it’s hitting) while stacking on a huge amount of potential. The borrowed Peter & Sons-style look is still a major discussion point and raises questions, but once the noise fades, what’s left is a sturdy mining slot that can compete with the heavyweights of the genre.
