Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest: Slot Overview
On her fifth outing, fearless adventurer Cat Wilde heads to South America to take the lead in Play’n GO’s action-packed slot Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest. Cat has explored this region before, having previously featured in the Gonzo-inspired Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God. Up to now, she seems happy keeping her travels focused on Central/South America and Ancient Egyptian locales. Perhaps she’ll push into new territory at some stage. For the moment, we follow Ms Wilde as she battles harsh conditions and dangerous wildlife while hunting for Incan riches.
And those harsh conditions are on full display: the base game shows a Peruvian jungle scene soaked by relentless rain. Visually, the rainfall is one of the more distinctive touches in Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest. That said, the overall production is polished, as is often the case with Play’n GO titles. The reels also come with a satisfying sliding stone-block sound, giving the audiovisual package a generally strong feel. Above the reels sit three bonus prize rewards, locked during the base game, offering extra motivation to keep pushing through the storm in the hope they’ll be unlocked later on—or better yet, collected.

Using the plus and minus buttons beneath the grid, players can set a stake anywhere from 10 c to $/€50 per spin. In the background—safely out of the downpour—sits a medium-high volatile math model (rated 7 out of 10), offered in multiple RTP versions, with a default of 96.2%, a familiar Play’n GO standard. Hit spin and the 5-reel, 3-row layout gets going, giving players 10 paylines to determine wins.
Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest forms winning combinations from 3 to 5 of a kind and includes 8 standard pay symbols. These consist of patterned J to A card ranks, paying 4 to 5 times the stake for a 5 OAK result, or 50 to 200 times the bet for landing 5 matching snake, bird, panther, or Cat symbols.
Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest: Slot Features

Wild symbols—called Falling Wild symbols in this game—are a core mechanic, supported by Falling Wild Respins, free spins, the bonus charger, and a bonus game.
Falling Wild and Falling Wild Respins
Falling Wilds can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4, replacing any regular pay symbols. When a Falling Wild lands it triggers respins, during which Falling Wild symbols drop one position with each respin. Additional Falling Wilds can land during respins as well. If a new Falling Wild lands behind an existing Falling Wild symbol, it expands to cover the whole reel. Respins finish once the last Falling Wild drops off the bottom of the reels. The bonus game may be awarded during Falling Wild Respins.
Free Spins
In the base game, landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters grants 6, 7, or 9 free spins, respectively. During free spins, all landed Falling Wilds expand to cover their reel as soon as they hit the grid. Bonus symbols and scatter symbols do not appear in free spins, meaning free spins rounds cannot be retriggered.
Bonus Game
Bonus symbols can land in the base game, including during Falling Wild Respins. The bonus charger becomes fully charged once it collects 3 bonus symbols, which triggers the bonus game. However, it resets whenever a new spin begins. When the bonus game starts, the gathered bonus symbols are placed in random positions on the grid. The feature begins with 3 free spins, and landing another bonus symbol resets the spin count. Bonus symbols carry values of 1x, 2x, 5x, or 10x the bet, paid when the bonus game ends. On top of that, completing rows with bonus symbols unlocks these bonus rewards:
- One row full of bonus symbols awards the 50x Minor reward.
- Two rows full of bonus symbols awards the 500x Major reward.
- Three rows full of bonus symbols awards the 10,000x Mega reward.
If additional rows are filled, only the highest unlocked bonus reward is paid.

Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest: Slot Verdict
After spending time with Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest, the takeaway was that it’s a decent slot, but not an outstanding one—something that arguably applies to the wider series too. Cat Wilde titles are generally reliable for sturdy features and solid entertainment, even if they can feel a bit demanding at times. Still, many of them come across as revisiting well-worn ideas rather than pushing into genuinely bold, untamed new ground. It’s almost as though Cat hasn’t quite stepped fully out from her father Rich’s shadow, despite clearly having the ability to do so.
That same pattern shows up in Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest: the base game is lifted by the occasional Falling Wild and respin sequence, and free spins can run much longer when Falling Wild symbols keep landing once you’re in. One aspect that felt slightly questionable was how the advertised 10,000x the bet top payout seems extremely unlikely unless you land the Mega symbol in the bonus game—almost to the point where you wonder if it’s realistically achievable otherwise.
In any case, without claiming it can’t happen, the small number of paylines (even though some symbol payouts are undeniably appealing) and the absence of anything like a multiplier boost at any stage made the max win without the Mega symbol seem like a big ask—enough to take the edge off excitement. Not completely, though, because Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest still has enough positives to keep players entertained if they’re after another shot at fortune in the southern reaches of the American continent. Not spectacular, but perfectly fine.
