Developer Nolimit City leans into the literary side with their occult-tinged slot Book of Shadows. It’s definitely not a standard Ra-like clone.

Instead, it comes across as a proper gambler’s tool. Reel locking, for instance, is a blast when it breaks your way—like freezing two books and then landing the third to trigger free spins. But Lucky Locks aren’t inexpensive. As an example, locking a book on the first and third reel pushes spin costs to more than 40x the stake.
