Blazing Bull 2: Slot Overview
When people mention a ‘spirit guide’, most minds jump to hawks, eagles, wolves, owls, or wise Native Americans. A huge bull wreathed in flames isn’t usually the first image that appears. Anyone drawn to the mystical side of things had to tweak their expectations when Kalamba Games launched the original Blazing Bull slot about a year ago.
Blazing Bull didn’t just feature that fiery bull either; it also packed the reels with a variety of spirit guides. It came with a couple of engaging bonus rounds too, but it didn’t have truly standout win potential to support it. Kalamba has since set their maths team on the problem, boosting the overall potential while also reworking free spins to add symbol multipliers and a fresh modifier that functions similarly to Nolimit City’s xWays feature.
Just like before, play takes place on a 6-reel, 4-row setup with a 4,096 ways mechanic. The action is still set outdoors, only now it’s in a quiet forest clearing, with hawks circling above and leaves moving softly in the breeze. Wooden totem poles tied to the game’s animals stand watch around the reels, decorated with dangling feathers for that Native American mystical touch. The atmosphere is familiar, though it feels a bit less wild—more like someone took a few too many pulls on the peace pipe and decided to relax instead of stir things up.
As with the first game, Blazing Bull 2 comes with solid stats. The RTP runs from 96.26% in the default mode up to 97.21% if you purchase the HyperBonus. Volatility is unchanged at 10 out of 10, meaning Blazing Bull 2 can turn ferocious when it feels like it. This time, it also has the serious potential to back that up. It’s still not especially friendly to low rollers, since bets begin at 50 p/c per spin and climb to $/€50 for those playing bigger.
With the ways system, wins are paid for matching symbols in any positions on consecutive reels starting from the left. You need at least two for the high pays and three for the low pays. Low symbols are 9-A card ranks, while premium icons include owls, wolves, horses, deer, and the blazing bull character. Hitting six-of-a-kind with a high pay symbol awards 3 to 5 times the stake. Wilds can substitute for any paying symbol to help form winning ways. During bonus rounds, they can also receive multipliers of sorts.
Blazing Bull 2: Slot Features
Blazing Bull 2 blends returning mechanics with a few new twists. One feature that carries over is the dual collection meters above the reels. Each base game spin partly fills these meters, and whenever one fills up it adds an extra free spin, up to 20 at the most. Put simply, the more base game spins you play, the more free spins get added to the relevant meter:
- 15 paid base game spins add +1 spin to the Wild Multiplier round.
- 30 paid base game spins add +1 spin to the K-Split bonus.
When free spins are triggered, you receive the number currently shown on the counter, and once the bonus ends it resets to 7. To trigger free spins, you need at least 3 blue or 3 orange scatter symbols visible at the same time:
- The blue scatters award K-Split free spins. On every spin in this feature, 1 symbol is randomly selected to become a K-Split symbol. Any chosen symbols then split, counting as 2 or 3 of the same symbol.
- Orange scatters award Multiplier Wild free spins. Here, wild symbols may land as x2, x3, x5, or x8 multiplier wilds. Rather than multiplying the win amount directly, they count as 2, 3, 5, or 8 ways for the reel positions where they appear.
Both free spin features can be extended if 21 or more scatter symbols land. Players receive 2, 5, 8, 10, or 15 additional spins for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters on the screen.
Lastly, there’s the HyperBonus, offered in jurisdictions where bonus buys are allowed. There are four choices available, letting players purchase:
- 7 or 10 Multiplier Wild free spins for 23.8 or 34 times the stake.
- 10 or 15 K-Split free spins for 51 or 76.4 times the stake.

Blazing Bull 2: Slot Verdict
Much like the first Blazing Bull, anyone into crystals or spirit guides is likely to be pulled toward the sequel. With the win potential ramped up dramatically, Blazing Bull 2 also has more appeal for big-win hunters. Even so, it’s a little odd—despite the substantial rework, Blazing Bull 2 doesn’t always feel like a full-throttle, high-performance slot. Maybe it captures that mystical forest mood so well that practical thoughts like money fade into the background. As the saying goes, you can’t take it with you, while those peaks, woods, and rivers will remain long after we’re gone.
Back to the slot itself: from a numbers perspective, Blazing Bull 2 gives very little to complain about. RTP sits comfortably above average, and the volatility is there for players who like games that can explode without warning. The first game had those traits too, but its fairly modest max win didn’t exactly thrill. Kalamba has clearly listened and returned with a stronger offering in Blazing Bull 2. This time, the studio states that wins of up to 50,000 times the stake are achievable. That’s exceptionally high for Kalamba, and it removes an easy point of criticism—though whether it truly delivers on that bold claim remains to be seen.
Other areas are easier to pick at. For starters, Blazing Bull 2 doesn’t hit with the same raw, visceral punch as the original. It’s the small details: softer sound design, more generic royal symbols that don’t suit the theme as well as before, and background visuals that feel less grand. The payout potential may have been cranked up massively, but the overall presentation seems to have calmed down.
Some players will likely welcome this more laid-back take on the spirit guide theme, and the stats are hard to argue with. Both free spin modes can absolutely deliver, and that 50k ceiling is a standout, yet in plenty of ways Blazing Bull 2 doesn’t burn quite as brightly as part one.
