Beast of Wealth is one of three titles in Play’n GO’s trio of wealth based slots. Wealth by name, wealth by nature since all three have been built around progressive jackpots. This isn’t exactly Play’n GO’s usual stomping ground, so the studio has come out swinging by releasing three at once. Maybe the idea is that at least one becomes a player favourite? Or perhaps they had a stack of Asian-themed assets and code ready to repurpose. Hard to say. What’s clear is that all three lean into Asian styling and are aimed at big win hunters chasing four progressive jackpots.

Against the other entries in the trilogy, Beast of Wealth comes across as the most traditional in appearance. When it loads, there’s no doubt about the setting. The 5-reel, 243 win ways play area sits inside a wooden, temple-like frame topped with a tiled roof in classic Asian style. Lanterns dangle from the structure, while misty mountains loom in the background. As mentioned, it’s a more classic Asian presentation.

Players can join the chase with stakes from 10 p/c to $/€100 per spin, whether on mobile, tablets, or desktop. The math model mirrors Celebration of Wealth and Temple of Wealth in many respects, including a fairly high but not savage volatility, which the studio lists as 7/10. RTP has dipped a touch to a default of 96.17%, still a strong number for a progressive given that each bet contributes to the jackpots. The Yin & Yang symbol is the key to triggering free spins. It can land on any reel and pays 5, 10, or 50 times the stake for 3, 4, or 5 on screen. Getting at least 3 anywhere in view starts the free spins round, and as before, players get five choices to pick from:

• Turtles – 118 Turtle symbols added to the reels.
• Birds – 108 Bird symbols added to the reels.

In truth, it’s largely a case of more of the same, because Beast of Wealth echoes the other two games in the series in so many respects. The bonus has been adjusted, but the core appeal remains taking shots at the progressive jackpots. Beast of Wealth leans a bit more into the Asian theme, yet there isn’t a huge amount that truly separates the three. They share similar stats, similar math models, and the non-jackpot upside is much like it was before.
