Bass Cash Monstrosity: Slot Overview
Depending on how you look at it, the fishing-slot corner of the market can feel like an overgrown beast, endlessly churning out new titles as studios try to ride the Big Bass Bonanza (and wider) wave. Rather than pretending the genre hasn’t ballooned, software provider Alchemy Gaming leans into it with Bass Cash Monstrosity, another entry in the studio’s Bass Cash series. It features a fish that evolves from a cute, Nemo-like oddball into something closer to Jaws, alongside a few twists layered over familiar mechanics.
Anyone with thalassophobia may feel a twinge of unease diving into Bass Cash Monstrosity’s underwater setting. The game plays out in a gloomy, green-tinged, wreck-strewn patch of sea that’s impressively atmospheric. With humans having charted only about a quarter of the ocean floor, who can say what’s lurking below—ancient alien relics, strange sea life, Cthulhu, anything. When you begin, the “monster fish” is a wide-eyed, harmless-looking fellow, but as it feeds on uncollected cash and jackpot symbols, it swells into a toothy, bloated monstrosity—true to the name. And as the monster grows, so does the size of the cash pile you can potentially win.

Bass Cash Monstrosity runs on a 5×4 grid with 1,024 ways to win, wrapped in a fishing motif with chains separating the reels. Volatility sits on the high end, and the top RTP is 96% (a lower RTP edition is also available). Bets go from $/€0.20 up to $/€20 per spin, so it suits both low-stake play and bigger spins.
The paytable includes 10 to A royals, paying 0.8x to 1.2x for 5 OAK, while 5 matching premium symbols—reels, hooks, boxes, or Winston the dogs—return 1.8x to 4x the stake. Wilds can appear on every reel except the far-left reel, substituting for all standard paying symbols.
Bass Cash Monstrosity: Slot Features

On the feature front, there’s plenty to dig into: cash collection, cash multipliers, a Monster Stash, Winston’s Wild Catch, scatter upgrades, free spins, a Bonus Recharge, a Bass Cash Bonus, plus feature buys.
Features
- Cash Collect – Fisherman collect symbols can land on the leftmost and rightmost reels. Cash and jackpot prizes are gathered whenever a Fisherman symbol is also present. If two Fisherman symbols land, cash and jackpot prizes are collected twice. Cash prizes pay 0.2x to 10x, and jackpot prizes are 15x Mini, 50x Minor, 250x Major, and 5,000x Mega. This mechanic can occur in both the base game and the bonus game.
- Cash Multipliers – In both the base game and bonus game, cash multipliers may drop on the leftmost reel. These multipliers boost cash prizes.
- Monster Stash – During the base game, the monster fish beside the reels can randomly store any uncollected cash and jackpot prizes, building up to a maximum total of 10,000x. At any moment, players may get the chance to catch the monster fish and claim its stored cash. If the monster fish is caught, the stashed value is paid out and the stash resets to 5x. If it escapes, the stored amount is lost and the value returns to 5x.
- Winston’s Wild Catch – On any spin, Winston the dog can jump in and uncover cash prizes, or cash prizes paired with a random cash multiplier.
- Bass Cash Bonus – When a bonus symbol lands, it’s placed into an empty slot above the grid. Once all 5 reel spaces are filled, the Bass Cash Bonus starts. A fully expanded Fisherman appears on the leftmost reel, and reels 2-5 spin in cash prizes and trophy symbols. Cash prizes are collected, while trophies are stored above the grid. Bonus spins keep going until any 3 of a kind trophies have been collected, at which point the matching jackpot prize is awarded.
- Scatter Symbol Upgrades – Once free spins have been triggered for the first time, 50 base game spins will upgrade green scatters into bronze. The same 50-spin upgrade cycle then repeats from bronze to silver scatters, and from silver scatters to gold scatters. Gold scatters can still appear even before every scatter has been upgraded to gold.
Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter awards 10 free spins. If bronze, silver, or gold scatters trigger the feature, they add 1, 2, or 3 pre-collected Fisherman symbols to the trail, respectively. There’s also the Upsizer, which allows players to begin with 3 Fisherman pre-collected for a fixed cost. As the feature runs, the trail collects any Fisherman symbols that land. Collecting 4, 8, or 12 Fisherman symbols awards an x2, x3, and x10 cash multiplier, plus +10 free spins.
In free spins, the monster fish stores every uncollected cash and jackpot prize. When the feature ends, players always receive a chance to catch and win the monster fish’s stashed cash. If the monster fish slips away, it carries the stash back into the base game. If players fail to catch it, they can buy another chance through the Bonus Recharge. Two separate odds options are offered, each with its own calculated price.
Feature Buy
Based on which scatters have been unlocked, players may purchase regular, bronze, silver, or gold scatter-triggered free spins for 100x, 120x, 150x, or 200x the bet, respectively.

Bass Cash Monstrosity: Slot Verdict
It turned out more enjoyable than anticipated. Initially, the jackpots and the Big Bass-style wild collection meter didn’t exactly suggest a thrilling ride. Still, even though Bass Cash Monstrosity borrows—really, recycles—quite a few mechanical ideas, it also brings some strong concepts of its own. It may not be revolutionary enough to spark the next fish-slot craze, but it does include elements that even seasoned fish-slot players may not have encountered, and might genuinely like.
How “new” it feels will partly depend on how closely you’ve tracked Alchemy Gaming’s Bass Cash line, because much of Bass Cash Monstrosity is essentially Bass Cash Deluxe. Where it separates itself is in the presentation: this one is darker and murkier than its relatives. That heavier tone works well with the monster fish and stash concept, which adds a real reason to keep spinning to see what develops—especially if the stash has grown into something substantial. The visual of the fish mutating and getting bigger also makes the mechanic more entertaining. Actually landing the stash may not be straightforward, though, and it’s easy to feel tempted by the Bonus Recharge, even if extra tries are limited to three. With a bit of luck, players could still reel in a serious haul.
Even with plenty of familiar gameplay stitched in, Bass Cash Monstrosity does enough to come across as at least somewhat different—no small achievement in the fish-slot world. Between the tried-and-tested mechanics, the gloomier setting, the aggressive monster fish, the stashed cash pot, and the potential to land wins up to 10,000x the bet, Bass Cash Monstrosity is a catch worth attempting for fishing-slot fans.
