By online casino standards, the original Avalon is practically from another era, and that may explain why—despite nearly twenty years passing—Avalon 3 can also come across as a touch dated. Enough players must be enjoying it to justify the constant return of features like the escalating jackpot values. Some clearly prefer the concept of building jackpots up to their peak rather than having the top prize available from spin one. Either way, the GG crew has found its lane and continues to fill it with releases like Avalon 3.

Alongside the Jackpots sits the Magic Orb Bonus, which at least adds some variety. It can deliver payouts in the base game, and the animation of Orbs drifting into chests and back onto the reels adds a bit of spectacle. But without the familiar name and history behind it, Avalon 3 might not have attracted much attention at all.
