This feature activates when a boat symbol above a reel lands together with a hook symbol on the reel directly below the boat. When it triggers, the All About the Bass feature awards the fish prize sitting directly below the hook. Fish prizes range from 4 and 960 times the bet, depending on fish size—small, medium, large, and mega. There’s also a special fish that, when it triggers the All About the Bass feature, awards:

• Collect All – awards the total of the 4 other fish prizes.
• Instant Bonus – awards the All About the Bonus.
• Activating an x2, x3, x4, x5, or x10 multiplier multiplies another fish prize by the respective multiplier and awards the multiplied amount. Each time an x2, x3, x4, or x5 special fish moves under the next reel along the bottom of the grid, its value is increased.

Landing 3 scatter symbols on the gameboard grants 5 spins in the All About The Bonus. The grid fills with credit values and special bonus symbols. Each multiplier that lands activates the credit value (by multiplying it) or the special bonus symbol it lands on; these are:

All About the Bass: Slot Verdict

That old song says the world needs love, sweet love—but what it definitely doesn’t need is yet another bass slot. Still, here we are with another one, and it’s a fair bet it won’t be the last either. The upside is that All About the Bass comes from Crazy Tooth Studios, a developer that generally isn’t interested in copying whatever’s trending or coasting on someone else’s success. Because of that, bass-slot fans get something a bit offbeat—maybe not the most extreme Crazy Tooth has ever gone, but at least All About the Bass isn’t Fishin’ Frenzy or Big Bass Bonanza wannabe number one thousand, million.

You do still get the fish money collection, so don’t worry about missing out. This time, you’re looking for a boat at the top, a hook in the middle, and then the prize beneath is yours—somewhat reminiscent of Big Time Gaming’s Golden Catch or Play’n GO’s Boat Bonanza Colossal Catch in places. As is sometimes the case with Crazy Tooth, a few of the prize values can feel slightly modest, but at least they’re clearly stated, and max exposure is 9,009.2x the max bet, meaning big catches are technically on the table. Even so, scanning the paytable prize values isn’t exactly confidence-inspiring, though the larger fish rewards are far from terrible.

All told, All About the Bass seems about as likely to dethrone the heavyweights like the Fishin’ Frenzies or the Big Bass Bonanzas as it is to trigger a total cash-prize meltdown—but to Crazy Tooth’s credit, it has created a fish slot with its own lively, distinctive character, which should suit players who enjoy the studio’s particular brand of chaos.
