Alice in Adventureland proved to be a likeable slot with a handful of engaging ideas. Fantasma hasn’t saturated every element with overt Alice references, which will be either a plus or a minus depending on what you prefer. The overall feel is closer to something like Plunderland than titles that fully commit to a psychedelic dreamscape. Still, this is Adventureland rather than Wonderland, a Fantasma-built setting where they can shape the world however they choose. The result isn’t as wildly imaginative as some of their other releases; Serpent Shrine and Twisted Turbine are two examples that came to mind as stronger contrasts with deeper, more immersive worlds.

Even so, Alice in Adventureland is a solid pick for anyone wanting an Alice-themed slot fix. The reel action could be genuinely entertaining, although it often relied on several moving parts lining up at once. The strongest moments in the review came when the Ultrabomb feature was active while multiple Rocketkats were upgrading wilds into multiplier wilds.
