Part of that comes down to the core features feeling familiar, even if Claws of Power and Akiva Sandstorm are nice touches. The merged middle reels that form big symbols strongly echo Wolf Gold, or even earlier titles, and the Link&Win bonus is as standard as they come. There are no unusual symbols or special conditions beyond simply landing Coin symbols—or not. Even the top-end potential doesn’t really stand out. Winning the Grand would certainly beat being pursued by an angry lion, but Akiva: Claws of Power tops out at a fairly modest 2,500x the bet. That said, it’s unlikely Foxium created Akiva: Claws of Power without a clear audience in mind.
