3 Cherry Frenzy: Slot Overview
Games Global studios clearly have a soft spot for hold ‘n win-style slots, and PearFiction Studios is one of the biggest offenders. Over here, the crew calls them LockNWin, and up to now that mechanic has shown up in 5 of the 11 studio titles we’ve reviewed. Now there’s another one to add: 3 Cherry Frenzy, which means an even 50% of the reviewed PearFiction Studios slots fall into the LockNWin category. This release includes 3 LockNWin rounds that can be combined under certain conditions, and yes—it’s also essentially a reskin of 3 Lucky Hippos.
PearFiction Studios pitches 3 Cherry Frenzy as a “disco inferno,” and visually that checks out thanks to the constant flashing lights and fiery effects. The soundtrack, though, leans more toward metal/rock than anything disco-like. There are flames and cherries, but overall 3 Cherry Frenzy feels less distinctive than 3 Lucky Hippos. PearFiction Studios can be bursting with character—think Blazing Piranhas or Granny vs Zombies—yet this one comes across as more generic. You could even argue Chicken Night Fever out-discos it.

3 Cherry Frenzy includes Split symbols, which can expand the grid and boost the number of ways to win. In its standard setup, the game runs on 5 reels with 243 ways to win. The default RTP is 96%, and the volatility is labelled very high regardless of the RTP configuration. Bets start at 20 c, rising to $/€50, and players can purchase 7 different bonus modes.
The paytable uses 10-A card royals as the lower-paying symbols, while the top pays are fruit: orange slices, blueberries, watermelon slices, raspberries, and grapes. Landing 5 matching card ranks returns 0.6 to 1 times the stake, while 5 of the same fruit pays 2 to 5 times the bet. Wilds replace any standard paying symbol.
3 Cherry Frenzy: Slot Features

Functionally, this is the same setup as 3 Lucky Hippos, with the main difference being that the top row now has a proper label. Beyond that, you’re getting the same mix of Split symbols, Cash collection, three LockNWin features, and feature buy options.
Top Graderz
Top Graderz is what the game calls the row sitting above the main reels, which spins horizontally. This is where Split symbols and bonus symbols can land.
- Split Symbols – each one adds up to 3 rows to the reel they land on, as well as the number of ways to win up to a maximum of 7,776. Split symbols are carried over to the LockNWin features.
- Bonus Symbols – collecting a bonus symbol on each reel triggers all 3 LockNWin features instantly. Bonus symbols can be collected over several spins.
Cash Symbol Collection
Cash symbols can appear with values of 0.2x to 100x the bet. These values are collected as an instant win whenever a Collect symbol lands on the rightmost reel.
Multiplier
Red Pot symbols raise the multiplier up to x10. This multiplier is applied to any collected values, and it also multiplies Cash values during the LockNWin. Once the multiplier has been used on the Collect symbol total or once the Multiply LockNWin round ends, it resets back to x1.
LockNWin
Red, Yellow, or Pink Pot symbols may activate a LockNWin feature when they land. When it triggers, you receive 3 respins. All symbols are cleared away except Cash symbols, which lock on the grid as they appear. Each time a Cash symbol or Jackpot Coin lands, the respin counter returns to 3. The feature finishes when the respins run out or when the grid fills completely.
- Multiply LockNWin – can be triggered by collecting a Red Pot symbol. The Multiplier is carried over to the Multiply LockNWin feature. At the end of the feature, the Multiplier is applied to all Cash symbols.
- Jackpot LockNWin – can be triggered by collecting the Yellow Pot symbol. When all spaces of a Jackpot are completed during the feature, the linked Jackpot is awarded at the end. The Mega (5,000x) takes 6 spaces, the Major (500x) takes 5 spaces, the Minor (100x) takes 4 spaces, the Mini (20x) takes 3 spaces, and the Micro (10x) takes 2 spaces to fill. Jackpots are not multiplied by the Multiplier nor collected by the Orange or Purple Cash symbols.
- Supreme LockNWin – can be triggered by collecting the Pink Pot symbol. Orange Cash symbols collect all Red Cash symbols, and Purple Cash symbols collect all Red and Orange Cash symbols.
Feature Buy
In the feature buy menu, players can purchase single LockNWin rounds or bundled combinations, with each option shown on-screen priced from 35.1x to 81.7x the bet.

3 Cherry Frenzy: Slot Verdict
Cherries are definitely present, but the “frenzy” part is more debatable. That’s the downside of churning out lots of similar titles—especially when it’s also a clone. In practice, 3 Cherry Frenzy feels like a less charming take on the game it’s based on, even if the heavier soundtrack adds some punch. The original had those laid-back hippos hanging out in a bright, playful water setting; here, you get heaps of strobe-like visuals and high-energy audio, but not much identity.
On the upside, 3 Cherry Frenzy does bring plenty of momentum, and the feature combinations are just as fun as they were previously. It’s not exactly top-tier, but as a mid-range, Power Combo-style package built around a LockNWin framework, it should still appeal to players who enjoy the kind of releases Games Global studios keep pushing. PearFiction Studios has shown real creativity before, as the earlier examples prove, but 3 Cherry Frenzy lands among the studio’s more forgettable efforts. Like a lot of recent Games Global titles, it comes off more like an uninspired box-ticker than a must-play release.
