Anyone who knows the developer’s releases will spot the familiar framework immediately, with prize ladders and level-based bonus advancement once again doing the heavy lifting. That approach isn’t inherently a problem—the format is popular for a reason—but it does mean 12 Pots of Gold Drum Frenzy offers little in the way of surprises, instead delivering a consistent, familiar ride centred on tiered prize values.

Compared to 9 Masks of Fire and its Irish counterpart, 9 Pots of Gold, the emphasis here isn’t quite as locked onto landing Epic Strike scatter symbols purely to claim prizes. Some of that focus remains, particularly in the base game, but the bonus rounds help share the spotlight. They were fine. Chasing Collect symbols to push up levels, then benefiting from an expanding grid that gives more room to do it, is easy to see as a hook for certain players.
